Standard clear stretch film secures a load. Black stretch film secures it and conceals it — which matters more than most buyers realize until they've had a shipment arrive with missing product, visible tampering, or UV-degraded goods. Black hand stretch wrap is the same LLDPE film as standard hand film in terms of gauge, cling, and application method. The difference is opacity: the load contents are not visible from outside the wrap, which changes the risk profile for high-value goods, export shipments, and anything stored or staged outdoors.
